HOW DOES THE FOOD WASTE REDUCTION CYCLE WORK IN COMPOSTYLE DEVICES?
The process occurs naturally through degradation
bio-engineered food waste and can be divided into 4 phases:
- Inserting the microorganisms into the machine in the required quantity, spray with water.
- Wait 24 hours for the device to be ready to receive the organic waste for the treatment of the drastic reduction in volume and weight of over 90%, remaining 10% in Te-d (dehydrated soil).
- The remaining part of the waste equal to approximately 10% of the initial weight and volume accumulates inside the machine and upon reaching a given limit, generally no less than 30 days.
- Take the Te-d, leaving a quarter of the total soil inside, so that the microorganisms can reproduce and continue their reduction activity.
This operation guarantees the correct and continuous functioning of decomposition and reduction of food waste.
The small quantity of humidity generated in the decomposition of organic waste is normally released into the air in the form of non-visible water vapour, which will be treated through an 8-stage catalytic system to totally eliminate any type of odor.

Advantages of the system
It is a compact, high-temperature plant that processes mixed commercial waste. The system consists of an automatic feeding unit, a heat treatment unit, a heat exchanger and an exhaust gas cleaning unit with cyclone and fine particle scrubber. At the end of the shredding and disposal process, the remaining fine dust and exhaust gases are filtered and clean air is released into the environment.
